Development Coach Workshop
These courses have been designed to introduce the game of volleyball and basic concepts to novice coaches. Coaches will be expected to participate in a series of learning experiences designed to help them improve their volleyball coaching abilities, and have those abilities assessed. These activities represent the minimum standard for the training and certification of Volleyball coaches within the NCCP.
Development Coach Workshop #1 - West Hants
Date: Saturday, September 16th and Sunday, September 17th, 2017
Location: West Hants Middle School, 8009 Highway 215, Newport, NS B0N 2A0 (30min drive from Bedford)
Learning Facilitator: Morgan Snow
Time: 9:00am-5:00pm each day, lunch and snacks are on your own and not provided.
Cost: $175.00 - paid online through Volleyball Canada

Registration Deadline: September 13th, 2017, 11:59pm
Prerequisites:
- Coaches must Register for and Complete ALL 11 eLearning Modules (Volleyball Disciplines to Performance Analysis) PRIOR to attending the workshop.
- Cost is free if you've already completed the Volleyball Disciplines module (part of VNS/VC Coaching Requirements for 2017 Club Season). If you have not completed this already, the cost is $89.00. You will NOT be peritted to attend the workshop until you've completed these eLearning modules.
- Total time to complete pre-requesites is 5-6 hours.
Development Coach Workshop #2 - Millbrook - OFFERED FREE for NATIONAL COACHES WEEK 2017 by Coaching NS
Date: Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th, 2017
Location: Millbrook Gym & Community Centre, 842 Willow St, Truro, NS B2N 6N7
Learning Facilitator: Morgan Snow
Time: 9:00am-5:00pm each day, lunch and snacks are on your own and not provided.
Cost: FREE- Coaching NS is sponsoring this workshop and pre-workshop modules as part of National Coaches Week 2017. The $175.00 workshop fee and the $89.00 pre-workshop eLearning modules are covered. This is a fantastic opportunity for any volleyball coaches to complete a large portion of their certification free of charge.
Registration: Due to this workshop being offered for free, registration will take place by emailing VNS Technical Director, Megan Conroy HERE on a first come first serve basis beginning on September 12th, 2017 (not before). Registration is limited to 12 participants.

Prerequisites:
- Coaches must Register for and Complete ALL 11 eLearning Modules (Volleyball Disciplines to Performance Analysis) PRIOR to attending the workshop. Megan will be emailing out a one-time use access code which will enable particpants to access the eLearning modules for free.
