Volleyball teaches players Life Skills on and off court.

2017-03-17

Beginning March 2017, Volleyball Nova Scotia will be highlighting a variety of life skills developed through our sport.

Volleyball is an amazing sport that requires a ton of athleticism, but we all know our sport is about much more than just athletic ability. Volleyball helps our youth grow into amazing leaders and outstanding members of the community.

Beginning March 2017, Volleyball Nova Scotia will be highlighting a variety of life skills developed through our sport. We want to promote volleyball by shedding light on the amazing attributes our sport develops, such as perseverance, teamwork, dedication, focus and sportsmanship. Our players are tremendous examples of how volleyball fosters a great community.

With that in mind, we are asking you to tell us about how the game has developed life skills in someone you know. We don’t require a lot, just a paragraph. If you feel more than that is required, please feel free to elaborate!

These stories will be featured prominently on our website and shared widely on social Facebook and Twitter in hopes of reaching outside the existing volleyball community.

To submit your story, Email VNS Program Coordinator, Tim Stephenson.

We look forward to learning more about our terrific athletes!
